Our screens require standard 110v electrical connection to run. Larger screens may need addition 15amp plug to operate at maximum brightness. The sign can sustain cable runs of up to 200ft.
Generator power is actually an optimal way to run the signs, it enables you to run a bigger sign, or run it brighter because the generator can handle the continuous power requirement where a single 15amp circuit might not. However using a generator does create a logistical hurdle in that someone will be responsible for re-filling the gas to keep it operational. Usually a 5000w generator is required to run our signs at maximum brightness.

Yes, our screens are capable of playing full-motion video in the MP4 format. However, please try and avoid using fine lines and really small text due to the limitations of pixels of the screen. Please contact us if you need help producing a file appropriate for the screens aspect ratio.
Unfortunately no. Most customers are not fluent in the sign management software that is required to manage and upload your playlist. So if you are not currently using sign management software, this capability would require extensive training and is not feasible for a short term rental. If you are purchasing a sign from us, training is included in the installation agreement.
Depends on what size sign your renting, and it varies with every animation or slide. Our bigger sign uses (2) 15amp dedicated circuits. Our smaller sign will run on a single 15amp circuit. Slides or movies with lots of bright colors will use more electricity and power compared to images and movies that are say just colored letters on a black background. We do an electrical analysis before delivery of the machine so we know before hand exactly what the electrical draw is based on your loaded programs. Also the brighter the signs are running, the higher the load will be.
No. Advanced Signs makes renting screens easy. You tell us what creative you want, we load the machine, then deliver it to your business. Once your campaign is finished , we return to pick it up. No hassle rental is quick and easy.
Generally a permit is required from the City which you are renting it in. However the permit is the responsibility of the renter, and not Advanced Signs. Please check with your local municipality on the permitting process and fees because they vary from city to city. You are free to rent the sign without a permit, but you are responsible for any and all penalties that may occur by the city.
